HellermannTyton offer an extensive fibre connectivity range suitable for any application including data centres, commercial installs and the 'User End' of FTTX networks. As well as a wide range of pre-terminated RapidNet fibre solutions, HellermannTyton manufacture a full end to end fibre solution including fibre patch panels, fibre patch leads, fibre connectors and adaptors along with a range of multimode and single mode cables. With fibre solutions available in single mode OS1 and OS2 and multimode OM3 and OM4, and a full range of connection options including LC, SC and high density MTP, the fibre range from HellermannTyton caters for any project of any size.
HellermannTyton supply a wide range of fibre fan out cables and MTP back-bone cables designed for high density fibre installations. The MTP cable and connector can deliver up to 24 fibre connections in a single fibre connector to form a high density back-bone cable. By using a high quality manifold, the fibre cable can be split into 12 or 24 LC or SC fibre connectors to form the fan out cable. Depending on the fibre cable used, a higher density fibre fan out is achievable.

HellermannTyton offers a standard range of quality fibre connectors and adaptors in LC and SC formats in both single mode and multimode variations.
The fibre connector is now used extensively in the local area network as a standard fitting for many market leading hubs and switches.
The LC is the standard for small form factor fibre connectors and are supplied in individual bags including the connector, dust cover and boot.
Available in simplex and duplex options, HellermannTyton fibre connectors are designed and tested to support 10Base-T (Ethernet), 100Base-T(Fast Ethernet), 1000Base-T(Gigabit Ethernet) networks, telecom, datacom networks and for use in high speed metropolitan and access networks.
The fibre adaptor is used to mate two connectors together, usually mounted in a distribution panel or wall box. In most cases it is the critical part of the system that aligns the ferrule of the connectors keeping the fibres in perfect alignment and minimising losses.
The LC Adaptor sets the standard for small optical fibre inter-connects. With its simple to use latched lever locking mechanism preventing accidental disconnection and precision housing for optimum performance.

Fibre patch panels from HellermannTyton are manufactured from robust black powder coated steel and are built with a 19" sliding drawer with 24 vertical slots for LC adaptors (duplex or quad) or SC adaptors (simplex or duplex) . The panel is supplied pre-loaded with the required adaptors with any unused slots fitted with blanks, each fibre port is numbered separately to make identification easier.
The rear of the drawer offers a number of cable options including 4x10mm and 2x20mm gland holes, and a removable section in the centre for specialist cables or patch leads. In addition, the base of the tray has cable securing points and cable management holes for securing Fibre Optic Management (FOM). Adjustable mounting ears allow the panel to be positioned within the rack or frame.
HellermannTyton are able to supply a wide range of fibre optic cable in both loose tube and tight buffered formats. Sold by the metre, HellermannTyton offer a range of multimode and single mode options with different fibre counts.
The standard fibre cable from HellermannTyton comes as OM4, OM3 and OS1 in standard fibre core counts of 4, 8, 12 and 24. Other types of fibre cable can be supplied on request.
All cables are designed to be easy to terminate, strong and capable of withstanding the strains of installation. Using LS0H sheaths allows for cables to be used in both internal dry installation but still withstand the rigors of damp environments.
