Connectorised Closures

The Connectorised closures from HellermannTyton include the FDN, FRBU and FST as standard. They are available configured with a selection of connectors to allow for the quick connection or disconnection of circuits using pre-configured fibre pigtails or field terminated connectors. In addition to these standard configurations, HellermannTyton are able to design and manufacture customised versions bespoke to meet specific requirements giving customers a complete solution.

Options available for customising include the type, number and position of the fibre trays. Pre-installation of pigtails and adaptors as well as loading the connectors in designated positions within the closure. It is also possible to select and have pre-installed a wide selection of passive optical splitters pre-configured to meet your requirements.

Typically connectorised closures are used towards the end of the network path (last mile) where the smaller capacity closures are best suited to these distribution points. The larger capacity UFC and FML closures have the capability to be used for high demand, high capacity connectorised solutions, providing even more options to the customer.
